This is the beginning of Scurry - a new Squirrel NFT that a small band of squirrel lovers is working on.

It is early stages but we are going to post our early stage concepts. We will share characters and stories of the squirrels we are creating as we go. So if you can put up with a bit of scrappiness come and enjoy the journey with us.

Drey Country was the most lush and peaceful place on earth for squirrels.. until recently. Acorns were plentiful and humans never minded a few going missing. But things took a turn for the worse.. humans have implemented defenses to protect acorns from our bushy tailed friends and it has threatened the very livelihood in Drey Country.

These crepuscular animals may look cute, but there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than you could ever imagine. Here at Acorn Hunters you’ll get a glimpse into the real lives of several ambitious squirrels, their dark pasts and criminal endeavors.

Most squirrels only steal acorns to feed their families. These acorns are abundant. But some acorns have magical properties and are heavily guarded. Only a small group of daring squirrels have ever attempted to steal magical acorns. But during this depression where all acorns are in scarce supply, squirrels see magical acorns as a way to take back control. So.. who’s side are you on?

Curduroy is bartender of Smokey’s Hollow. He knows more than he lets on, has seen a lot of shit. Is more imposing than the bouncer and can kick your ass but is a master of verbal jiu-jitsu (evidence usually leaves a mess to clean up) is actually the lynchpin of Smokey’s because he’s the only one the mad brewer will talk to / supply with the hazelnut liquor in the infamous house cocktail Haze 75. Some suspect he’s the real shot caller of Smokey’s and is wise enough to be in a position “on the ground”.
